General Inquiries

What happens in a casting session?

First, we will create a mould to capture an impression of your baby/child's hand or foot. To ensure we get the best result, we would need your baby/child to be as still as possible. We find that singing, rocking and feeding are effective ways to distract babies during the moulding process. Your baby/child's hands and feet will be immersed in a gooey moulding mixture for a few seconds and when it is set, the hands and feet are easily removed.

How long is each session?

We usually allocate approximately 45 minutes to an hour for each session. Each cast, however, only takes a few minutes. The extra time allocated for each session is to enable your child to relax. If the mould turns out to be less than perfect,  we will repeat the process. Therefore, we recommend making a booking time that is best for your child. (ie: after their mealtime, during their nap time, anytime when they're the happiest!)

What materials do you use?

Being a parent myself, it is important for me to know that my product is safe. Little Prints uses high-quality medical impression material that is suitable for delicate skin. It is 100% non-toxic.

What do I need to bring?

All you need to bring with you is a relaxed demeanour, have your baby dressed in comfortable clothes, some toys and food! If your baby/child becomes restless during the moulding session, that's when the food and toys come in!

How do I pay?

We accept payment by cash, cheque and bank transfer. Details of bank account will be given after the moulding session if required.
